The Via delle Bocchette crosses the Brenta-Mountains from North to South (or the other way round) on permanently about 2500 to 3000m. The multi day tour is one of Europe's via-ferrata classics and mostly traverses the mountain massives on spectacularly exposed ledges. While on the via-ferrata there are no options to drop out, only the huts have trails into the valley. So the route is only suitable for surefooted people that are not afraid of heights.
There are a multitude of different variants to the Via delle Bocchette. The route we chose led us from the Grostè Cable Car station across the Sentiero Alfredo Benini, the Bocchette Alte, the Bocchette Centrale and then back to the valley. For a longer tour additional via ferratas through the Brenta can be added to the tour.
