For a long time we've been wanting to go and get a glimpse of the Harz - the highest "mountains" in northern Germany. Although not quite as impressive as the alps in southern germany it is still a spectacular scenery with many places to go and see. Besides nature the Harz is also rich in history as well as folklore and fairytales.
